Outline of Talk:

The presentation will discuss the availability of trade dress protection on different subject matters and the requirements for protection. The presentation will include photographic examples from personal experience and case law of trade dress found to be protectable and infringed or not infringed.

The Presenter:

Hal Reick

Hal Reick, a partner with Price, Heneveld, Cooper, DeWitt & Litton, LLP (www.priceheneveld.com)
Hal has 25 years experience counseling clients on how to protect trade dress as well as avoid trade dress infringement. He has extensively counseled several clients in the store brand over-the-counter, and health & beauty aid areas. Defining and protecting product designs, including the Herman Miller Eames® chair and ottoman, are additional areas of his expertise. He served as a panelist at a PLMA conference in Washington, DC.
